Some lovely Christmassy FREE PRINTABLE bunting for you today…

We recently threw a surprise baby shower for Leanne in our studio – it was a really special occasion for us all to celebrate her own journey into motherhood and of course, the little tiny she was busy growing! (Incidentally, the beautiful Pearl was born last week – hooray!) At the time, we had no idea if baby would be a boy or girl, so I opted for a bright, gender-neutral theme for the shower, centred around rubber ducks… Have a peek at these photos, hopefully full of cute celebration inspiration, easy peasy DIY decoration ideas and best of all, FREE PRINTABLES…

Also above: Handmade pom pom cake stands – I collected glass vases from the charity shop (approx 50p each), covered foil cake display plates in pretty paper and stuck pom poms around the outside….

(Above): ‘Dear Baby’ cards are a great way to get a little keepsake for mum and baby… People complete the cards with their predictions, promises and words of wisdom… These are good for baby showers but also for mum-to-be’s friends, family and colleagues to complete…

Are you planning anything for Halloween this year? If so, we’ve designed some cute (in a spooky way) free printable bunting which may be useful…

All you need to make our cute Halloween Trick or Treat and spooky illustration bunting… The free printable sheets, (2), a pair of scissors, and some Paper Tape (aka. washi tape). If you don’t have the latter, some normal sellotape and string will do, if you stick it to the reverse..

You can either use the bunting to spell out ‘Trick or Treat’ or use the little pictures…

Hello! Happy Friday everyone! I know my blogging has become slightly less frequent, but today I’m hoping to make up for this by sending a lovely new design, a matching Free Printable AND a DIY tutorial into the ether!

Above – a preview from a new Wedding Stationery collection entitled ‘Motown’ – it’s a little bit fun, colourful and 1950s inspired which we hope you’ll like.

Emily, our work experience student turned summer helper has been busy making this cute fabric pom pom and putting a little tutorial together for you (inc. the graphics & photoshop work)… Hope you like it! We think it would look great with our new ‘Motown’ wedding stationery collection! Choose any fabrics to suit you / your big day, but we would suggest to avoid large print patterns which may not show up so well once they’ve been frilled to bits!

Happy jubilee weekend to all – I hope your weekend has been full of celebration so far! Mine certainly has – We travelled to Dubai for my gorgeous little nephew’s 1st birthday party yesterday. It was such a lovely party with so many babies, toddlers & their parents enjoying some delicious food, great music & fun party games (I’d definitely recommend the dads & babies round of musical chairs to Boney M’s ‘Daddy Cool!’).

Morning all, hope everyone’s well and getting some sunshine this week wherever you are.. I’m writing this from sunny Dubai – we’re here for a week visiting family & having an incredible time. I’m still managing to snatch some moments to catch up with work though and wanted to share this hen / bachelorette party fun with you – given the amount of stationery leaving our studio for summer weddings in the next few months, I’m  guessing many of you are about to embark on the hen weekend – is playing this game on your schedule?

We’ve put together this little quiz for you in our Free Printables Library. The classic game of ‘Mr & Mrs’ is great for hen/stag dos particularly – have a laugh finding out who really knows who better! We’ve designed it as a Microsoft Word document so you can alter the questions and add in names at the top. (You’ll notice our example questions are somewhat less raunchy than you might find on the average hen/stag do, so no doubt some of you will customise it accordingly).

There are loads of different ways to play this game, but what we recommend it that both the Bride & Groom fill out a copy of the quiz, (either a printed version, or electronic to type over – it’s up to you). So for example, on the Bride’s copy, she will complete the pink section with her own answers to the questions, and the blue section should be what she thinks the Groom’s answers would be. Then, during the hen do – get everyone together and read out the questions, score how many the Bride got right about the Groom and vice versa. Whether or not you want to include a forfeit for incorrect answers is entirely up to you!

We’ll also be adding soon some ‘Mr & Mr’ and ‘Mrs & Mrs’ versions so there’ll be one for everyone.

Hi all – I hope everyone’s had a great weekend… Sorry it’s been a little quieter than usual on the blog, we’ve been up to our eyes in design proofs, finding a premises for our vastly expanding team and hosting my little one’s 3rd birthday party yesterday – it was a really special day with our family and friends there to celebrate the occasion with us. I’ll be posting various features this week with cute party ideas, but for today, I wanted to share with you the latest addition to our Free Printables Library - these cute popcorn bag labels:

These make an exciting snack at any party or wedding, and are really easy and cost effective to produce. Simply order some striped sweet bags online (e.g. they’re a few pounds for 100 from Ebay). Fill them with yummy popcorn (we got a few supsersize bags of Butterkist from the supermarket), and stick on our cute and colourful labels. The popcorn stays fresh for around 48 hours, so you can prepare them in good time.

Hi all, I wanted to share with you the latest addition to our  Free Printables Library – some fun Easter egg hunt signs and clues for you to print from home and use with the kids this Easter…

These signs are great for littler ones (like mine,who’s 2) and the clue cards are great for you to write your own clues on, making them as easy or tricky as you like depending on the ages of your children.
