DIY Fan Wheel Flowers…

Posted in: In the Treehouse Blog on Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Loving today’s DIY project – they’re great for using as place cards at weddings (just stamp on names instead of initials), in centrepieces or as favours… Quick, cheap, simple & fun to make – they’ll brighten up your tables a treat!

If you’re having traditional lawn games at your wedding such as the Egg & Spoon race, Welly Boot Throwing & Sack Races, how about using these as Rosettes for the winners -(minus the straw and with an addition of a safety pin stuck to the back).

As always, you’re more than welcome to ask questions, comment or let us know how you got on making these yourself… Just drop us an email at info@inthetreehouse.co.uk

Save the Date with a Vintage Style Circus Ticket!

Posted in: In the Treehouse Blog on Monday, July 18th, 2011

I had so much fun designing these for Sammi & Anton (a very cool couple I might add). They wanted something a little bit vintage, a little bit circus, and a little bit ticket-y! So funnily enough, I came up with a vintage style circus ticket… In fact, I’m so excited about it that I’ll be desigining a whole new range based on the concept soon, and will keep you posted… Just to let you know, the colour scheme, and all wording is adaptable to suit your preference.

Win 100 of our Save the Date Cards!

Posted in: In the Treehouse Blog on Sunday, July 3rd, 2011

Woweee, a  really exciting morning here at In the Treehouse… We’re launching our new London Town wedding stationery range today on the lovely London Bride blog - and to celebrate, we’re giving away 100 of the fabulous Save the Date cards to one of their readers. Just visit www.london-bride.com and leave a comment under the In the Treehouse feature to be in with the chance of winning – the lucky couple will be announced on the 25th July – Hooray!

Meet Mr. London - he features in various places throughout the range :-)

The stationery is designed using a mix of illustration, collage & graphic design giving it a really unusual look. Note that the bus shows the wedding date, the cab shows the venue, and Big Ben displays the ceremony time. This invitation is the size of an A4 sheet, folded lengthways, and is printed on extra thick (325gsm) flat cream card – the reverse is also designed and printed to suit your big day.

These free standing, double sided Guards will stand perfectly to attention, ready to guide your guests to their seats. They are printed identically on the reverse meaning that guests sat on the other side of the table needn’t worry about forgetting names. Clever chaps!  After your wedding, guests will love taking these little guys home as a reminder of your special day.

The menu is personalised with the Bride & Groom’s initials and features the little loved up London pigeons in the bottom corner.

This 4 page, double sided Order of Service is postcard size so your guests can easily pop it in their pockets & take home as a keepsake to remember your special day.

If you’d like to see any other specific items from this range, please get in touch at info@inthetreehouse.co.uk
